Shares of Gensol Engineering slipped 1.71% to Rs 829 while Sarda Energy & Minerals jumped 4.36% to Rs 258.95 on the BSE.

The contract has been awarded for meeting captive requirements of Sarda Energy's production and mining facilities.

The order includes design engineering, procurement, construction and commission of solar power plant. The said order will be executed in 6 to 9 months from signing of letter of intent (LoI).

Sarda Energy & Minerals has integrated steel manufacturing unit with facilities, ferro alloys backed by captive thermal power plant and is presently, engaged in metal, mining and power sector.It operates in the hydropower projects through SPVs.

Gensol provides concept to commissioning solar advisory, execution and operation services for solar projects in India and abroad.
