State Bank of India fell for a fifth straight session today. The stock is quoting at Rs 621.55, down 0.62% on the day as on 13:19 IST on the NSE. The benchmark NIFTY is down around 0.19% on the day, quoting at 21503.35. The Sensex is at 71273.29, down 0.16%.State Bank of India has gained around 1.19% in last one month.Meanwhile, Nifty Bank index of which State Bank of India is a constituent, has eased around 0.12% in last one month and is currently quoting at 47242.65, up 0.04% on the day. The volume in the stock stood at 68.76 lakh shares today, compared to the daily average of 157.27 lakh shares in last one month.

The benchmark January futures contract for the stock is quoting at Rs 624, down 0.53% on the day. State Bank of India jumped 4.16% in last one year as compared to a 20.16% rally in NIFTY and a 11.9% spurt in the Nifty Bank index.

The PE of the stock is 8.99 based on TTM earnings ending September 23.
