Revenue from operations (excluding excise duty) grew by 2.14% year on year to Rs 156.95 crore in the quarter ended 31 December 2023.

As compared to Q2 FY24, the company's net profit increased by 1.03% while revenue from operation rose 3.55% in Q3 FY24.

Profit before tax stood at Rs 30.62 crore in the quarter ended 31 December 2023, down 11.61% as against Rs 34.64 crore recorded in Q3 FY23.

Total expenses rose 2.94% YoY to Rs 594.46 crore during the quarter. Cost of material consumed was at Rs 119.14 crore (up 8.80% YoY) and employee benefits expenses stood at Rs 3.16 crore (up 14.91% YoY) in Q3 FY24.

For 9M FY24, the company's net profit rose marginally to Rs 64.88 crore in 9M FY24 from 64.77 crore reported in 9M FY23. Revenue from operation rose 4.08% to Rs 455.38 crore in 9M FY24 as against 437.54 crore recorded in 9M FY23.

G M Breweries is engaged in the activities of manufacturing and marketing of alcoholic beverages such as country liquor (CL) and Indian made foreign liquor (IMFL). The company is the largest manufacturer of country liquor in the state of Maharashtra with a sizeable market share.
