Among the other constituents of the index, Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Ltd increased 2.43% and Indian Oil Corporation Ltd added 1.68% on the day. The S&P BSE Oil&Gas index went up 9.65 % over last one year compared to the 11.24% surge in benchmark SENSEX.
