Adani Ent Q2 PAT slides 50% YoY to Rs 228 cr
Adani Enterprises reported 50.57% decline in consolidated net profit to Rs 227.82 crore in Q2 FY24 as compared with Rs 460.94 crore in Q2 FY23.
Revenue from operations dropped 41.02% to Rs 22,517 crore in Q2 FY24 from Rs 38,175.23 crore posted in Q2 FY23.

Total income declined 40% year on year to Rs 23,066.03 crore in Q2 FY24.

EBIDTA increased by 39% to Rs 2,979 crore on account of strong incubating businesses. Cash Accruals jumped 26% to Rs 1,242 crore.

During the quarter, Adani Airports handled 21.4 million passenger, 148,200 air trafiic movements (up 17% YoY) and cargo stood at 1.9 lakh metric tonnes.

In the Data Center segment, Chennai Phase-I 17 MW project is operational, Noida project- 50 MW was completed 63% of overall project and Hyderabad project -48 MW was completed 65% of overall project.

In the ANIL Ecosystem business, solar manufacturing total operational capacity was at 4.0 GW, Wind Turbine manufacturing received final type certificate for prototype 1 and Nacelle & Hub facility – commenced commercial production.

On half yearly basis, the company’s consolidated net profit fell 3.08% to Rs 901.75 crore on 39.31% decline in revenue from operations to Rs 47,955.78 crore in H1 FY24 over H1 FY23.

The company said that it has made significant progress in its strong incubation pipeline during the first half of the fiscal year 2023-24. The results showcase the emergence of key incubating businesses, including green hydrogen integrated manufacturing ecosystem, airports and roads, which collectively contributed 48% of the overall EBITDA.

Adani Enterprises (AEL) is the flagship company of Adani Group, one of India's largest business conglomerates. The company's business investments are centred on the fields of airport management, technology parks, roads, data centre and water infrastructure.

The scrip fell 0.27% to Rs 2,212 on the BSE.
