Nazara Technologies has announced the launch of its game publishing division called "Nazara Publishing." This division aims to release high-quality games for both the Indian and international markets. They plan to collaborate with Indian and global developers to localize and bring games to the large gaming community in India, as well as publish games made by Indian developers globally.
Nazara will invest a minimum of Rs 1 crore per game and has plans to launch up to 20 games within the next 18 months. Developers will receive support in various areas such as game design, localization, data analytics, beta testing, quality assurance, monetization, and distribution. Additionally, they will have access to industry mentors, providing them with guidance and assistance to overcome challenges and grow in the Indian gaming industry.
To facilitate partnerships with game developers, a dedicated website has been created, catering specifically to their needs. Nazara Publishing intends to publish games across various platforms, including mobile, web3, VR, and PC.

The company's consolidated net profit jumped 69.6% to Rs 19.50 crore in Q1 FY24 on 14% increase in net sales to Rs 223.10 crore posted in corresponding quarter last year.
Shares of Nazara Technologies rose 1.10% to Rs 792.90 on 27 October 2023.
