The project, which has been awarded by the Government of the State of Yucatán, Mexico, will be delivered through MRP Technology Solutions, the company's partner in the region, the technology solutions stated.
The Government of the State of Yucatán envisions to develop a metropolitan friendly and sustainable mobility system, locally called VayVen, which will allow the population to make faster and more efficient transfers, to save time and money, in addition to offering smart transportation solutions.
This vision includes modernization of the fare collection system towards an open and interoperable system (acceptance of contactless cards, QRs, bank cards) and modernization of the equipment of existing validator equipment in buses.
Aurionpro Transit has partnered with the Yucatán Government for this initiative and in this first phase, valued at US$1.2 million, to be delivered over next six months, it will supply SCV500+ onboard validators and GV7 Gate validators in this project, through its partner.
