With this, the installed capacity of NTPC and NTPC group has become 57,838 MW and 73,824 MW respectively, said the company.
NTPC is India's largest energy conglomerate. It has presence in the entire value chain of the power generation business. As on 30 June 2023, the Government of India holds 51.10% in NTPC.
The company's consolidated net profit jumped 23.8% to Rs 4,873.24 crore in Q1 FY24 from Rs 3,936.82 crore recorded in Q1 FY23. Revenue from operations declined marginally to Rs 43,075.09 crore in Q1 FY24 as against Rs 43,177.14 crore posted in Q1 FY23.
Shares of NTPC declined 0.45% to Rs 233.85 on the BSE.
