Revenue from operations slipped 37.72% year on year (YoY) to Rs 25,438.45 crore in the quarter ended 30 June 2023.
Total income de-grew 37.15% to Rs 25,809.94 crore in Q1 FY24 from Rs 41,066.43 crore recorded in Q1 FY23, on account of correction in coal prices.
The company's profit before tax stood at Rs 1,078.52 crore in Q1 FY24, up 70.53% from Rs 632.47 crore posted in Q1 FY23.
EBIDTA increased 47% YoY to Rs 2,896 crore on account of strong operational growth.
During the quarter, Adani Airports handled 21.3 million passengers (up 27% YoY), 141,600 air traffic movements (up 12% YoY) and 2.5 lakh metric tonnes (MT) (up 9% YoY) cargo.
With respect to the roads business, the company constructed 79.8 lane-km during the quarter and 3 out of 10 projects are more than 50% completed.
In the Data Center segment, Chennai project phase-II (phase-I, 17 MW operational) was completed 74% of overall project, 51% of overall project completed in Noida and 46% of overall project completed in Hyderabad.
In the ANIL Ecosystem business, solar manufacturing total capacity was at 4.0 GW, wind manufacturing-commercial production to start from Aug 2023 and ingot & wafer manufacturing - financial closure of Rs 900 crore (IREDA).
In the Mining Services segment, five mining services contracts are operational and delivery is as per schedule. Production of Carmichael Mine, Australia was at 2.6 MMT and integrated resource management volume stood at 17.8 MMT.
