In a regulatory filing, the company said that it will issue up to 2.3 crore equity shares of face value of Re 1 each at a price of Rs 300 (including a premium of Rs 299 each) or at a price being not lower than the minimum price determined, on a preferential basis to the non-promoter. The issue size is amounting up to Rs 690 crore.
The issue is subject to the approval of the members in the extra ordinary general meeting (EOGM) and appropriate authorities.
Swan Energy has three verticals of business i.e textiles, energy and construction & others. The company reported consolidated net profit of Rs 2.63 crore in Q4 FY23 as compared to a net loss of Rs 19.13 crore in Q4 FY22. Net sales surged to Rs 933.19 crore in Q4 FY23 as against Rs 312.31 crore recorded in the same period last year.
Shares of Swan Energy slipped 3.67% to Rs 256.20 on the BSE.
