BIGBLOC Construction said that its joint venture company, Siam Cement Big Bloc Construction Technologies (a joint venture with SCG International India) has entered into agreement for supply of machinery & technical services with China's Changzhou Machinery And Equipment Imp. and Exp. Co. & Jiangsu Teeyer Intelligent Equipment Co.
The contract is for supplying machinery and technical service for autoclave aerated concrete blocks (AAC) plant.
BIGBLOC Construction is engaged in the business of manufacturing of building blocks and AAC (Aerated Autoclave Concrete) Bricks. AAC blocks are a high quality building material that offers a unique combination of strength, low weight, thermal insulation, sound absorption, unsurpassed fire resistance and unprecedented build ability. AAC is a natural and non-toxic construction material, saves energy, and is environment friendly. These AAC blocks of the company are marketed in the brand name of NXTBLOC, which is a green product for construction industry.
On a consolidated basis, net profit of BIGBLOC Construction declined 24.87% to Rs 5.62 crore on 12.15% fall in net sales to Rs 46.55 crore in Q4 March 2023 over Q4 March 2022.
