Revenue from operations was at Rs 12,494.67 crore in Q4 FY23, up 8.1% from Rs 11,558.23 crore posted in the same period a year ago.
Consolidated profit before tax in Q4 FY23 stood at Rs 2,843.66 crore, registering a growth of 10.35% on year on year basis.
Total expenses grew by 9.21% YoY to Rs 10,359.79 crore in Q4 FY23. Cost of materials consumed stood at Rs 4,963.91crore (up 38.77% YoY) and employee benefits expense was at Rs 1,615.04 crore (up 15.14% YoY) during the period under review.
On full year basis, the company's consolidated net profit rose 14.72% to Rs 5,827.74 crore on 9.37% increase in revenue to Rs 26,927.46 crore in FY23 over FY22.
HAL is engaged in carrying out design, development, manufacture, repair and overhaul of aircraft, helicopter, engines and related systems like avionics, instruments and accessories primarily serving Indian defence programme. As of 31 March 2023, the Government of India held 75.15% stake in the company.
