State Bank of India gained for a third straight session today. The stock is quoting at Rs 462.5, up 1.82% on the day as on 12:49 IST on the NSE. The benchmark NIFTY is up around 1.15% on the day, quoting at 15879.75. The Sensex is at 53333.72, up 1.15%. State Bank of India has dropped around 2.55% in last one month. Meanwhile, index of which State Bank of India is a constituent, has dropped around 5.36% in last one month and is currently quoting at 33627.45, up 0.83% on the day. The volume in the stock stood at 48.99 lakh shares today, compared to the daily average of 115.89 lakh shares in last one month. The benchmark June futures contract for the stock is quoting at Rs 462.55, up 1.61% on the day. State Bank of India is up 8.38% in last one year as compared to a 0.41% jump in NIFTY and a 4.11% jump in the index. The PE of the stock is 12.79 based on TTM earnings ending March 22.
