Among the other constituents of the index, Reliance Communications Ltd decreased 3.72% and Tejas Networks Ltd lost 3.44% on the day. The S&P BSE Telecom index went up 15.43 % over last one year compared to the 9.37% surge in benchmark SENSEX.
