Future Consumer Ltd surged 13.76% to Rs 57.45 at 11:53 IST. The stock was the biggest gainer in the BSE's 'A' group. On the BSE, 13.88 lakh shares were traded on the counter so far as against the average daily volumes of 5.12 lakh shares in the past one month.

Bank of India soared 11.78% to Rs 106.3. The stock was the second biggest gainer in 'A' group. On the BSE, 29.83 lakh shares were traded on the counter so far as against the average daily volumes of 7.33 lakh shares in the past one month.

Oriental Bank of Commerce spiked 8.87% to Rs 97. The stock was the third biggest gainer in 'A' group. On the BSE, 5.42 lakh shares were traded on the counter so far as against the average daily volumes of 7.82 lakh shares in the past one month.

Union Bank of India spurt 8.82% to Rs 99.3. The stock was the fourth biggest gainer in 'A' group. On the BSE, 12.74 lakh shares were traded on the counter so far as against the average daily volumes of 9.92 lakh shares in the past one month.

Syndicate Bank jumped 7.71% to Rs 58.7. The stock was the fifth biggest gainer in 'A' group. On the BSE, 4.61 lakh shares were traded on the counter so far as against the average daily volumes of 6.6 lakh shares in the past one month.
