The Nifty July 2023 futures closed at 19,082.35, a premium of 110.25 points compared with the Nifty's closing of 18,972.10 in the cash market.
In the cash market, the Nifty 50 advanced 154.70 points or 0.82% to settle at 18,972.10.
The NSE's India VIX, a gauge of market's expectation of volatility over the near term, rose 1.02% to 10.89.
RIL, HDFC Bank, and Infosys were the top traded individual stock futures contracts in F&O segment of NSE.
The July 2023 F&O contracts will expire on 27 July 2023.
